Oumar Mamoudou Ba
Age: 17
Home: Senegal
Each day Oumar drives his cart seven
kilometres to the nearest well. He collects 600 litres of water twice a
day and brings it back to his village, which has no water source of its
own. The pump at the well often breaks down, forcing the villagers to
draw the water by hand.
